Laura Meredith is a passionate author, animal lover, and co-owner of the award winning Ryedaura bookkeeping business. Who is dedicated to sharing uplifting stories that resonate with children and adults alike. After overcoming cervical cancer and facing numerous challenges in life, Laura and her family fulfilled a long-held dream of starting a smallholding in Aberdeenshire and have created a haven for animals in need. Through Christopher’s Collection Laura shares the real-life adventures of her animals on the farm.
Laura’s deep bond with the adopted animals, especially Christopher the sheep, inspired her to write Christopher’s New Home, the first book in the Christopher’s Collection, a heartwarming children’s book that teaches lessons of love, inclusion, and belonging. Her journey as a writer began with a desire to promote inclusivity and family values, and she has since become a celebrated author known for her ability to connect with readers through heartfelt storytelling.

Rescued as a little lamb, Christopher quickly became a cherished member of Laura’s family, and their special bond sparked a whole book series dedicated to his adventures. From the moment he found his new home, Christopher has been spreading love and joy with his gentle nature and endless appetite for “shuggles” (sheep cuddles).
